Growing up Christmas music was very big at my house. We started listening to my mom's collection soon after Thanksgiving. We listened to Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole, Wayne Newton, The Chipmunks, the list goes on. The one artist that spoke Christmas to me more than any other was Andy Williams! I still listen to a lot of Christmas music. I have more Christmas albums than I care to admit, but it's not truly the holiday season until I hear Andy.
I always loved the Andy Williams Show and all the others. I miss those days of television... Apparently, I grew up listening to the same music you did.

AW brings back so many memories. Though it's a bit hard looking at his burnt orange outfit, at this moment in time. LOL.

Oh god, anything but Alvin and the Chipmunks. I worked in retail throughout hs and college. One year the management required that we play nothing but Christmas music after T'giving. We started out with things like Bruce Springsteen's Christmas album but very quickly everything decent was stolen and ALL we had was Alvin and those damn Chipmunks. All day, every day, for WEEKS. It's been twenty years and I'm still traumatized...
