We don't have many bug issues in the Pacific Northwest, but one of the worse is spiders! I'm a big fan of spiders when they are outside. When I see one inside I get completely creeped out. Big time. Rainy season brings the spider indoors, not fun.
Over the weekend at the island I went to take a shower and there were approximately 1,000 spiders in the bathtub. Okay, there were only about 5 and only two of them were alive but whatever, it might as well been 1,000! I had someone else dispose of them, while I was very far away.
Since it is spider season I thought I'd share a couple shots of a spider spied living in our courtyard. I got very close to get these photos, that's why there is only four. I had to keep moving back to regroup after each shot, but the detail on the spider is pretty darn cool!
Look at your own risk!
That last one really creeps me out!!

I'm the same way, as long as they are outside they don't bother me. But, as soon as I see one inside I get freaked out.

How big was that spider? 'Cause the zoom makes me think it was the size of King Kong!

I'm totally creeped out by spiders. Well, and anything else that crawls around.
I seriously did not need to see that last one. We have those all over the garden every year. Ick!
