Remember when I posted about what I thought was the Silk Tree in my front yard?
Here is what it looks like now:
Here is a shot from far away so you can see what the whole tree looks like.
The flowers are really pretty and very unique. I'm hoping through the close ups of the flowers someone can tell me what kind of tree it is!
The bees LOVE the flowers!
It is a Mimosa tree. My grandparents had one in their yard. Many an afternoon was spent in that tree;)

Thanks to everyone who identified it as a Mimosa Tree. When I googled it I also found it's called the Silk Tree! I like Mimosa Tree so much better, that's what I'll be calling it from now on.

That's the only thing I miss about my old house is the Mimosa tree. I'm glad you have one to enjoy!

I just love mimosa trees. My grandmother always had them & I spent long hours laying on the grass beneath them...
