I wear used clothes almost exclusively. I really hate clothes shopping at the department stores. I do, however, enjoy thrift store shopping. Thrift stores are an adventure. Walking through a thrift store door is walking into the unknown. So many possibilities.
My love of the thrift store started when money was tight. When the budget squeeze loosened I found myself still drawn to the thrift stores. It's a huge challenge to find a great pair of jeans or a sweater for 99 cents.
Admittedly I don't need a fancy wardrobe. I work in the office of a steel fabricating company where most people wear coveralls. My other careers of agent at the Pike Place Market and Day Care Provider didn't require a fancy wardrobe either. For years my standard outfit has been jeans or capris with t-shirts in the summer and jeans or slacks with sweaters in the winter.
I'm comfortable in my attire and best of all when it gets stained I'm sick of it, it's much easier to donate it back to the thrift store and buy something new new to me!
I wish I could do the thrift store thing, but I just don't have the patience for it. I can barely even force myself to go into Ross or TJ Max and they're not as bad in my mind as thrift stores.

Oh, I LOVE thrift stores. I find the best stuff there. And as much as I hate shopping, I'm with ya. Thrift stores are only for the adventurous!

Online shopping.
I can't do thrift stores. Ironically, Macy's and Nordstrom are even worse.
You always look adorable!
