This is the beginning of a series of posts about my life since I became a fanatical fan (is that redundant?) of Pearl Jam. You will hear about things that frequently make people shake their heads in disbelief and look at me like I'm crazy with awe. Here is sample content of upcoming Pearl Jam posts:
- I was 35 when I went to my first Pearl Jam concert and I was scared to go.
- The world of message boards, chat rooms and aim was opened to me.
- I joined a fan club for the first time in my life.
- Meeting internet people in person.
- imom to Handy Man - "I met a guy at the show, he didn't have any where to stay so I brought him home with me. He's upstairs sleeping on the sofa, so don't freak out when you get up."
- imom to Canadian Boarder Patrol - "There are 7 of us in the vehicle, we are all from different states".
- Seeing Eddie Vedder up close and personal.
- Fan "meet ups".
- Receiving items in the mail from countries all over the world.
- Sitting standing in the FRONT row!
- Making friends for life!
I know I'm crazy! Nothing I do involving Pearl Jam or meeting Pearl Jam people surprises me any more. I've been on this journey for over 10 years so I'm used to my freaky behavior. My hope with this series is to entertain you with escapades of a middle aged woman having the time of her life!
Oh you are funny, I can't wait to hear all about these fun-filled escapades.

Julie, The guy I brought home with me was Nick and that was the first time I'd met him in person, hahahahaha.
The Canadian Border was so stressful, I can't wait to re-live that!
